*Full-time Accounting Manager
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an individual with accounting / bookkeeping experience. We encourage further professional development and provide opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:
-Ensure accuracy, timeliness and quality of all financial reporting to include monthly financial statements with footnotes for all clients.
-Pay bills as appropriate and interpret / explain and correct accounting problems.
-Reconcile bank, credit card and other statements.
-Work with senior management to review strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for our client.
-Implement monthly close out procedures.
-Business Development to include specific sales and marketing targets.
Qualifications and Requirements:
-Minimum of a BS in Accounting and preferably, working towards or are a CPA.
-Expert in QuickBooks.
-Experience with additional accounting software (MAS 90/200, Peachtree, etc.) is a plus.
-Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and other office software.
-Able to work within a deadline oriented environment.
-Self motivated and exhibit a high degree of creativity.
-Insured and reliable means of transportation and a valid drivers license.
-Please expect some travel.
* We are also currently looking for those interested in an unpaid internship, which will be focused on increasing knowledge of finance and accounting systems and processes. You will gain hands-on experience in working with small businesses.
